EATONVILLE, Fla. -

Florida fire marshals are investigating what caused a fire that gutted an Eatonville home on Sunday.

Maitland fire crews responded around noon to the home at 519 Katherine Ave. to find flames shooting through the roof.  They were able to put the fire out quickly, said the deputy fire chief.

One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, he said.  Two dogs were also killed in the fire and were buried.

State Fire Marshals are working to find what caused the fire while the American Red Cross is helping find temporary homes for the people who lived there.
