Drive, dog covered in paint after crash

A Washington man and his dog got an unexpected splash of color.

The man was hauling a dozen 5-gallon buckets of paint when he lost control of his SUV and crashed.

The paint opened on impact and coated the inside of the vehicle, including the driver and his black dog.

A local animal rescue group helped clean up the dog using soap and a water hose.

The driver was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

The dog is being cared for by a local humane society while his owner recovers in the hospital.
