Millions of people around the world were struggling this Monday. No, it isn't the weather, issues at work or kid problems. Facebook was down for several hours Monday. Many called it "Facepocolypse."

Although no reason for the outage has been given, users were able to log into the popular social website - but cannot update their status.

The following message popped up:

Just before noon Monday things got back to normal and users could update their posts again.

"Earlier this morning, while performing some network maintenance, we experienced an issue that prevented some users from posting to Facebook for a brief period of time. We resolved the issue quickly, and we are now back to 100%. We're sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused," Facebook told Mashable.
