Matt Austin goes to a Baldwin Park chocolate factory.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

It looks like a scene out of Willy Wonka with vats of spinning chocolate, but Farris and Foster Chocolate Company is located in Central Florida.

The chocolate factory, open for 13 years, offers families a chance to make sweet creations at a reasonable price.

During a class, owner Jon Farris Lanenga, gives a 10-minute crash course on confections.

"It's amazing. It's so creamy. You just want to dunk your head in there. Chocolate-covered head," said Rene Rogers, who recently took her 12-year-old daughter, Melissa, for a day of fun.

Lanenga says the business goes through about 2,000 pounds of chocolate each month.

"I eat as much as I can, and I sell the rest," Lanenga said.

A family of four can make a pound of chocolate for $29. For each additional pound, the price increases by $14.

Farris and Foster Chocolate Company is located at 4875 New Broad Street in Baldwin Park.
