Troopers say a Winter Springs woman is dead and three others are hurt after a two-car rollover accident along Interstate 4.

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -

Troopers say a woman is dead and three others were hurt Friday afternoon after a two-car rollover accident along Interstate 4.

The incident happened at 5:15 p.m. Friday along westbound I-4 near Lake Mary Boulevard in Seminole County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 43-year-old Altamonte Springs woman was driving a 1998 Ford SUV westbound on I-4 in the center lane as 39-year-old Nathan Standley of Lake Mary was driving his 1999 Pontiac Grand Am in the right line.

Troopers said the Ford's left-rear tire separated, causing the driving to lose control of her vehicle as it abruptly traveled towards Standley's car.

Standley took evasion action and steered to the right, leaving the roadway and striking a light pole on the shoulder, causing his car to overturn, according to FHP.

Authorities said the driver of the Ford, who has not been identified, also left the roadway and overturned multiple times.

Good Samaritans stopped to help those inside the Ford as the SUV came to a rest on its driver side. With the help of a Road Ranger vehicle, troopers said the good Samaritans helped upright the Ford.

Angela Crom, a 47-year-old Winter Springs woman who was a passenger inside the Ford, was pronounced dead at the scene. Sheila Daniels, 44, also rode as a passenger inside and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with minor injuries reported.

Troopers said the driver of the Ford was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Standley suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital.

FHP said the crash remains under investigation at this time.

Three lanes were closed late Friday afternoon as a result of the crash on I-4. You can check current traffic conditions with Local 6's Timesaver Traffic page.
