Osceola County firefighters had to battle a two alarm fire Sunday afternoon.

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. -

Osceola County firefighters said they were able to extinguish a fire that destroyed a restaurant that was almost ready to open.

Firefighters said they were called to the Tres Amigos restaurant at 2290 East State Road 192 in Kissimmee around 10:46 a.m. Sunday.

When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the building and immediately struck a second alarm, officials said.

Firefighters worked to contain the fire, but had to battle the blaze from outside, officials said.

Firefighters said the fire was extinguished, but the building was a total loss.
