ORLANDO, Fla. -

A fire forced families out of their homes early Friday in Orange County.

The Orange County Fire Department was called around 5:15 a.m. to the Chateau de Ville Condos at 2929 Oak Ridge Road.

Witnesses told Local 6 that flames were seen shooting from at least one unit, although about a dozen were evacuated.

No one was injured in the blaze, but at least one unit was seriously damaged, authorities said.

Multiple fire trucks and emergency officials could be seen surrounding the apartment complex as firefighters fought the flames.

Crews were able to get the fire put out, but the cause has not been determined.
