SANFORD, Fla. -

The first of many SunRail cab cars arrived in Central Florida early Monday morning.

The cab car was delivered to Sanford after being built in New York. Sanford is just one of 12 SunRail stations along the track that will connect parts of Volusia and Seminole counties to the tourist district.

The first phase of SunRail that will connect DeBary and Orlando is expected to start running next year.

The Florida Department of Transportation will hold a special ceremony on August 12 to officially unveil the new car cars and will offer the media a special inside look inside the cars.
