PALM COAST, Fla. -

Flagler County deputies said they are searching for the "Grinch" who stole a pair of laser lights from the Palm Coast holiday fantasy light display.

Deputies said the Palm Coast Rotary Club reported the two Bliss Sprite Laser Lights missing from the display sometime between Saturday and Sunday.

The lights, which were being displayed in Central Park in the Town Center, were valued at $340.

“It’s sad that during this holiday season someone has selfishly ruined a part of our community’s holiday tradition,” said Sheriff James L. Manfre, a member of the Rotary. “Rest assured that if we catch the Grinch, the only thing he will be getting Christmas morning will be a stocking full of coal hanging from the door of his cell in our jail.”

Anyone with information about the theft is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 888-277-8477.
