Marion County deputies release video of a high-speed chase that started as a traffic stop.

MARION COUNTY, Fla. -

Deputies on Tuesday released video of a high-speed police chase with a suspect that reached 130 mph in Marion County.

The chase occurred last week after, according to authorities, a deputy pulled over 31-year-old Travis Weaver for driving without his headlights on. The deputy said Weaver stopped, but then took off at a high rate of speed.

According to an arrest affidavit, Weaver ran several red lights before he spun into a ditch and still managed to flee from the deputy.

The deputy was eventually able to stop the car but was reportedly forced to break the window to arrest Weaver because he would not get out of the car, authorities said.

Weaver faces several charges, including driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.
