Two unclaimed dogs found their way to Florida Highway Patrol headquarters Friday morning.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

Two dogs showed up Friday morning and promptly made themselves comfortable in the entrance to Florida Highway Patrol headquarters.

The dogs, one male and one female, seemed to be well taken care of; they have collars, but no ownership identification, according to FHP.

"They look like they're together, they come from the same home, they're very loveable, very well taken care of, so we know they come from a very loving family and we just want to see that they get back to them," said Lt. Timothy Freebern.

The dogs are now both in the custody of Orange County Animal Control. Troopers have posted signs in the neighborhood hoping their owners will see them.

Animal Control says the owners will have three days to claim them and after that they'll put them up for adoption.
