An Orlando man impersonating a police officer was arrested Wednesday morning after police say he mooned a server at IHOP for not allowing him to eat free at the restaurant.
Matt Arthur Skytta, 55, has been charged with impersonating a police officer, trespassing and disorderly conduct in the incident at the East Colonial Drive restaurant.
Police said Skytta was previously known for ordering food in the restaurant and then saying he didn't have any money to pay for the food. When he arrived at the restaurant just after midnight on Wednesday, a server asked if he had money to pay for food, to which Skytta said, "No, but I am a cop and I get food for free."
According to the report, the server told Skytta cops pay for their own food in the restaurant. Skytta showed the server an Orlando Police Department patch, then said that he wasn't going to leave the restaurant until he was fed.
As the server was calling 911, Skytta said "I'll whip your a**" and began walking away before shouting "hey buddy," pulling down his pants and exposing his buttocks to the server and customers, police said.
When police arrived, he was escorted out of the restaurant , said that he knew the police chief and that his retired police officer brothers would help him. Skytta was arrested and taken to Orange County Jail.
