Friends of a teenager who died after being shocked with a Taser by Miami Beach Police are staging rallies, art exhibits and concerts in his memory.

On Sunday, they'll march along Miami Beach's Lincoln Road to honor Israel Hernandez-Llach and demand disciplinary actions for the officer involved. A poetry slam and fundraiser will be held Monday in Miami's Wynwood arts district.

Hernandez-Llach was a graffiti artist known as "Reefa." In August, police said they spotted him spray-painting a shuttered fast food restaurant. He allegedly led police on a chase and ignored orders to stop. Police said he was shocked with a Taser once in the chest, then showed signs of distress.

Hernandez-Llach was taken to a hospital, where he died. His family has sued the city and its police chief.
