Grandparents get free admission to Brevard Zoo on Grandparents Day

Mark down Sunday, September 8 on your calendar to spend a day with your grandparents at the Brevard Zoo.

The Zoo is offering free admission to grandparents complete with live music from the Brevard Symphony Orchestra Strings Trio. The trio will be performing from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Zoo is home to more than 650 animals "representing more than 165 species located in Florida, South America, Africa, Asia and Australia and accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums."

For an additional charge, you can kayak along the Nyami Nyami River, paddle boat in the wetlands, take a train ride on the Cape to Cairo Express, and feed the giraffe and lorikeet.
