I-4 reopens after police talk man down who was hanging from overpass

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. -

Interstate 4 reopened Monday night after police talked a man down who was hanging off an overpass in Seminole County.

Crews spent an hour talking to the man, who was dangling off State Road 436 in Altamonte Springs.  I-4 reopened just before 11 p.m.

Police said if the man fell, he would have landed on the interstate.

The incident caused a major traffic backup in the area.

No other details were released.
