ORLANDO, Fla. -

People living near Edgewater High School in Orlando could be hearing loud noises and see police in the area Thursday morning, but it's all part of a multi-agency training exercise.

The City of Orlando Police & Fire Departments, in conjunction with the Orange County School Board, FDLE, Winter Park Police Department, Kissimmee Police Department and Orange County Sheriff's Office will be taking part in the exercise.

The training exercise will demonstrate how each agency works collaboratively during large scale incidents.

Officials are looking for 10-12 volunteers to take part. They will be placed inside the school and will likely act as 'victims'. Police said it's a good opportunity to help assist officers as they work to be prepared for all types of situations and to keep the community safe.

The training exercise is taking place from 8 a.m. until about noon. Anybody interested in role-playing must RSVP to Jessica Stead at jessica.stead@cityoforlando.net

You will need to arrive at Edgewater High School by 7:45 a.m. with a photo ID. No weapons of any kind will be allowed.
