Bank robbe
LEESBURG, Fla. -

Leesburg police are looking for a man they say robbed a bank in broad daylight Saturday afternoon.

Police said the man went into the Wells Fargo Bank at 400 West North Boulevard around 12:30 p.m.

The man implied he had a weapon, but it was never seen by customers or tellers, according to police.

Police arrived at the bank, but the man was already gone. Police said a perimeter was set up, but they were unable to locate him.

Police told Local 6 they do not know if the man they are looking is the same suspect wanted in a few other bank robberies in Central Florida.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Leesburg police at 352-787-2121.
