ORLANDO, Fla. -

Lockheed Martin plans to bring up to 200 jobs to Orlando by expanding its Mission Systems and Training facility.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott announced the company's plans on Wednesday.

"This expansion of Lockheed Martin is great news for Florida families in Orlando," Scott said, "Florida has proven to be the perfect business climate for companies like Lockheed Martin."

The defense contractor's consolidation of corporation-wide facilities is expected to bring in a capital investment of about $80 million to Central Florida.

Lockheed Martin currently employs nearly 7,000 people in Orlando.
