Lynx bus crash sends 16 to hospitals

ORLANDO, Fla. -

Orlando police investigated an accident after a car hit a Lynx bus in downtown Orlando Saturday evening.

Police said around 6:30 p.m. Saturday they responded to Orange and Alden Avenues for a traffic crash involving a car and a Lynx bus.  

Police said  15 people were transported to area hospitals for minor injuries.

Police said the river of the car was in serious but stable condition at the scene and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center to be treated.

Police said Orange Avenue is completely closed down from Magnolia Avenue to Virginia Street until the scene is cleared.
