A contracted Lynx bus driver will undergo customer service retraining after he was caught on camera flipping off a motorist.

The incident happened around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday on State Road 417 near University Boulevard.

The other driver told Local 6 that he signaled and moved to the left lane, which he said was clear.

He added that he was traveling about 75 mph when the bus, which he estimated to be going 65 mph, cut him off.

The motorist said he threw up a hand in annoyance and the bus driver flipped him off for 10 about seconds.

The motorist said he grabbed his phone and as he passed the bus, the driver again gave him the obscene gesture, which was photographed.

"This is unacceptable behavior for any team member through direct or contracted employment," Lynx spokesman Matthew Friedman said.  "We have discussed this matter with our contractor. The driver will be going through a disciplinary hearing.  As well, all local MV (MV Transit) employees will be going through a customer service retraining."
