Man arrested on DUI charges with daughters in car, Oviedo police say

A man was arrested in Oviedo after police say he was driving under the influence with two of his underage daughters, who had also been drinking.

OVIEDO, Fla. -

A man was arrested in Oviedo after police say he was driving under the influence with two of his underage daughters, who had also been drinking, according to police.

Police said 42-year-old Chandra Beckford was driving through Sanford at about 70 mph in a 25 mph zone.

Beckford's three daughters, all minors, were in the car and two had the smell of alcohol on them, according to police.

Police say Beckford had a .203 blood alcohol content level and was arrested on several charges, including giving alcohol to a minor.

He is being held at the Seminole County Jail without bond.
