Osceola County deputies are searching for a man they say approached a girl walking to school in Kissimmee on Thursday morning and asked her to perform a sex act.
The victim told deputies she was walking to school just after 7 a.m. on Carroll Street when she was approached by a man in a vehicle and asked if she wanted a ride. When she declined, the man made lewd remarks and asked her if she wanted to perform a sex act, deputies said.
The girl then left the area and told her parents, who notified law enforcement.
Aleida Colon was shocked to hear that once again another girl has fallen victim and was targeted as she walked to school.
"I really worry about that because I have four kids," said Colon. "Everybody is worried here because there are a lot of kids in this neighborhood. We don't feel security here. We feel scared because you don't know why he's doing it."
Antonio Encarnacion is positive he saw this man early Thursday around 6:30 near his home.
"That's the guy I see," said Encarnacion. "Yeah, that's him."
All the victims attend Osceola High School. Kimberly Encarnacion is a student there and usually catches the bus.
"I think I'm gonna have my mom or dad take me to the bus stop from now on because that's really scary," the teen told Local 6.
Deputies described the man as a as a heavyset, light-skinned, Hispanic male in his late 20s or early 30s with short brown hair, a mustache with a short beard and wearing a hat.
The vehicle is described as a newer model white car with light tint.
Deputies said since August 2013, they have taken six reports of lewd and lascivious behavior with five of them possibly being related to the current case.
