ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – A man in his 60s was found dead Sunday after a fire broke out at a home in Volusia County, officials said.
The fire was reported on Avenue F near Ormond Beach.
Officials have not released the man's name.
Firefighters said the blaze did not appear to be suspicious.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but neighbors said a portable heater may have sparked the blaze.
"I mean, everybody feels bad here. We all knew him. It's sad, though. It's sad," a neighbor said.
