Man found shot to death inside DeLand home

DeLand police launch an investigation after a man was found shot to death inside a home.

DeLAND, Fla. -

A man was found shot to death late Thursday inside a DeLand home in what police said was a suspected homicide.

The man, identified as 30-year-old Cornell Tulloch, was found shot around 11:35 p.m. inside a home in the 800 block of South Stone Street.

According to DeLand police, a caller alerted officers to a house alarm that was sounding, and the caller said he saw four men running through his yard.

Officers discovered Tulloch suffering from a gunshot wound inside the house, police said.

A search of the area was conducted and a crime scene was established, but no arrests have been made. 

An investigation is ongoing.
