DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -

A Daytona Beach man was arrested on Tuesday after police say he was spotted by neighbors conducting sexual acts with his dog.

James Bull, 61, has been charged with felony animal cruelty and another misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty.

According to the report, neighbors told police on Tuesday they saw Bull having sexual conduct with his 8-month-old female dog on his front porch of his Magnolia Avenue apartment.

When police arrived, the dog was emaciated and had no food, water or shelter, the report stated.

The dog was taken to Halifax Humane Society for medical treatment.

Bull was taken to the Volusia County jail, where he is being held on $15,000 bond.
