Manta
ORLANDO, Fla. -

A day after SeaWorld conducted maintenance on their popular Manta roller coaster, the ride stopped, trapping riders on board, Sunday afternoon.

SeaWorld told Local 6 one of the rides safety triggers was activated, bringing the ride to a halt, which is exactly what the sensors are supposed to do.

A spokesperson said everyone on the ride was evacuated safely and there were no injuries.

It was unclear if the ride had re-opened Sunday evening.
