Match.com releases revealing dating survey

A new survey of more than 5,000 singles revealed the pet peeves, preferences and rules for the dating scene in 2014.
"Singles in America," created by Match.com, broke down its findings based on categories such as the first date, dating etiquette, sex and money.
According to the survey, 51 percent of singles have imagined wedding bells ringing on the first date.
However, the first date can easily go downhill based on three things. The survey found the top three things used to judge a date are:
After the date, men are more likely to follow up the next day. No matter who follows up, more than half of singles want the followup to come in the form of a phone call, according to the survey.

In order to find the ideal match, 100 percent of women and 98 percent of men require respect. Woman are apparently pickier when it comes to finding the "ideal" match. The survey found most women would not date someone "less intellectual or shorter than themselves." Most single men in the study said they wouldn't mind dating someone who makes more money or who is more educated than themselves.
Singles weren't afraid to dish the dirt about their sex lives. Two-thirds of singles wanted to have more sex in 2014. However, there is apparently a limit. Only about a quarter of men and women surveyed wanted to have sex every day of the week.
Singles looking for the right time to have sex might want to wait for prime time. The preferred time to have sex is at 10 p.m., according to the survey.
Finding Mr. or Mrs. Right is getting expensive, too. Match.com reports single Americans spend $82 billion every year on their dating lives. Men spend the most money on personal entertainment while women spend the most money on new outfits.
In what may be the strangest findings of the survey, Match.com found "41 percent of redheads" and "singles with Android phones" both "achieve orgasm over 90 percent of the time."
