Project Morpheus is testing green propellants.

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -

The NASA prototype Morpheus lander took flight again on Thursday.

Local 6 news partner Florida Today reported that the lander had another test flight Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

The goal of the test, which took place at the Kennedy Space Center, was to have the lander climb 465 feet and fly forward 636 feet before descending to a pad in a hazard field north of the shuttle runway.

Project Morpheus is working to test green propellants and autonomous landing sensors.
