ORLANDO, Fla. -

New Year's resolutions are just as easy to break as they are to make. So, if you haven't thrown in the towel yet, there's no better time than today (January 17).

According to a survey done by time-management firm, FranklinCovey, one-third of those who set New Year's resolutions will break them by the middle of January. Because of that, January 17 has been dubbed National Ditch Your Resolution Day.

Don't feel guilty if you've tossed out the gym membership or given up on your budget, because you're not alone.

According to a CBS News poll, three in 10 Americans say they usually set goals for the new year. Only about half keep them.
