The robbery took place late Tuesday morning when sheriff's reports say 50-year-old Timothy Paul Jones handed a note to a Wells Fargo teller demanding money. He then went across the street to change his shirt before getting on the bus, according to the report.

Deputies were able to pull the bus over on S. Orange Blossom Trail, get the other passengers off and arrest Jones, recovering the undisclosed sum they say he stole from the bank.

Jones has been charged with bank robbery.
