ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -

Orange County deputies are investigating the suspicious deaths of a husband and wife after deputies said they were found dead in their home Friday morning.

Deputies said the man's mother went to their mobile home on on Aein Road Friday morning when he failed to show up for an appointment and found them both dead.

Deputies have identified the two that were found dead inside the home as 59-year-old Annmarie Smith and 52-year-old James Smith. Homicide detectives said they are now classifying this investigation as a double homicide.

Neighbors said they heard gunshots at around 6 or 7 a.m., deputies said.

The search is now on for a killer, and neighbors are on nervous.

Neighbors said they've seen suspicious activity down the street before, but now with a killer on the loose, they're more aware of anything out of the ordinary.

Deputies said there is no suspect and did not release any information about a possible motive.
