ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -

Orange County deputies are searching for a gunman they believe may be targeting gas stations in a string of armed robberies.

The latest robbery occurred at the 7-Eleven on Landstar Boulevard near State Road 417 early Thursday morning.

Deputies said the man, who was wearing a similar outfit to the man caught on video robbing a Circle K earlier this week, robbed the clerk at gunpoint.

The man then ran to the McDonald's across the street and took off in a silver car, according to deputies. No injuries were reported.

Police said they believe the robberies at the 7-Eleven and the Circle K on Orange Blossom Trail are linked and the same gunman may be involved.

"I'm not surprised to have one person their at night with no security," says Shalece Vazquez, who says she used to work at the 7-Eleven. "There should have been a deputy here."

Investigators are checking surveillance cameras from nearby businesses to see if they can see the car's license plate.
