An Orange County prosecutor who made some controversial comments on Facebook as been re-assigned on Thursday.
Assistant State Attorney Kenneth Lewis apologized for his posts on his Facebook page and initially, State Attorney Jeff Ashton said Lewis wouldn't be punished.
But on Thursday, the State Attorney's Office said Lewis had been re-assigned from working major crimes, to general felonies.
Lewis will also go to sensitivity training.
Local 6 first reported on the comments on May 21, among them being a post that reads, "Happy Mother's Day to all the crack hoes out there. It'(s) never too late to turn it around, tie your tubes, clean up your life and make difference to someone out there that deserves a better mother."
Lewis said at a news conference on May 22 he thought that his posts from May 6 and May 11 were only to his friends network on the social media website, and not visible to the general public.
