ORLANDO, Fla. -

Orlando's planning board has approved the large project coming to International Drive called iSquare Mall, but only after some cuts were made to the original plans.

iSquare Mall will include a multistory mall and a hotel that features an observation deck, a rotating restaurant and an ice rink.

The approved plan scaled back the mall by five stories and scaled back the hotel by about 500 rooms. The final hotel design includes 26 stories and 749 rooms, according to the project analysis.

The hotel-mall destination will also include state-of-the-art technology in an multistory garage that will guide drivers to open parking spaces.

iSquare Mall will be located at 5600 International Drive. The project is expected to cost between $300 million and $400 million.
