Vine Street has been re-opened after an overturned tanker shut down the road in Kissimmee on Monday afternoon.

Crews worked for hours to clean up the spill.

Orange County Fire Rescue said about 8,000 gallons of gas and diesel fuel was being carried by the tanker when it flipped over on Vine Street near Hoagland Road.

The steel was punctured in the middle of the tank creating a leak and the puncture hole is unsealable. The fuel had drained into the storm drain.
