Troopers identify pedestrian fatally struck by motorcyclist, 19, in Seminole County

Northbound Orange Blossom Trail shuts down after collision

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a motorcycle Friday night in Seminole County, troopers said.

The collision happened around 9:15 p.m. at Orange Blossom Trail and Overland Road.

Troopers said the pedestrian, later identified as Richard McKeeby, 64, of Orlando, was crossing from the west side of Orange Blossom Trail to the east when he was hit by the motorcyclist.

McKeeby was pronounced dead at the scene, the Highway Patrol said.

The 19-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in serious condition, according to the crash report.

Northbound Orange Blossom Trail was shut down after the crash, troopers said.
