Police say a man accused of robbing a bank was wearing a nametag identifying himself when he approached tellers and demanded cash.

The Associated Press reports that 68-year-old John Martinez walked into a bank in Denver on Tuesday wearing a T-shirt with the name "John" on the chest area.

Investigators also said that witnesses wrote down Martinez's license plate number, and the the car was registered to Martinez himself.

Martinez was arrested a few hours after the robbery, reports the Denver Post. Police say he told them he and his wife were recently evicted from their home.

He is being held without bail on an aggravated robbery charge.
