Orlando PD are investigating a shooting that has left one man seriously injured at Clear Lake Park.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

Orlando police are investigating after a man was found shot on the dock of a park on Friday night.

An Orlando police commander tells Local 6 units responded to Clear Lake Park after someone called them about a man found laying on the dock near the lake.

Officers say they found Marcus Jones, 40, with at least one gunshot wound.

He was transported to the hospital, where he was undergoing surgery Friday night. The victim is listed in critical but stable condition as of Monday.

It's not clear what prompted the shooting.

Police said witnesses told them Jones appeared to be 19 years old, which is what was originally reported to the media.

Investigators ask that that anyone who may have been in the Clear Lake Park near the lake dock on on Friday at around 6 p.m. or if any has information about this incident to contact Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
