Police search for two women accused of stealing clothing.

MELBOURNE, Fla. -

Police are searching for two women who have stolen Polo shirts from the Macy's at Melbourne Square Mall on three occasions.

According to police, at least three times the women have stuffed men’s Polo brand shirts into empty shopping bags at the store and left without paying.

The same pair may have committed similar crimes at the Dillard’s store, police said.

Melbourne police say the shirts retail for about $80 each and they have stolen about $10,000 worth of clothing.  They have taken other items of clothing, too, all from the Polo brand, police said.

Melbourne police encourage anyone with information to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
