University of Central Florida police say they are noticing a spike in iPhone thefts on campus.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

University of Central Florida police say they are noticing a spike in iPhone thefts on campus.

Police said the culprits are going around asking to borrow cellphones to make phone calls but when they get the phones, they take off running.

UCF is warning students to keep their phones on them at all times and to not let anyone they don't know borrow them.
