Osceola County deputies are investigating a body that was found after someone smelled a foul odor coming from the woods.

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. -

Osceola County deputies have identified a body found in the woods Friday night as a 21-year-old who had been reported missing.

The body found along Boggy Creek Road in Kissimmee was tentatively identified on Monday as Javier Enrique Rodriguez Garcia, who was reported missing on July 25.

Deputies said evidence at the scene points to Garcia, but the medical examiner's office will make an official determination after DNA testing. The incident doesn't appear to be suspicious.

When they arrived, deputies said they spoke with Kissimmee Police Department officers and the complainant, who indicated a body was located in a wooded area on the property.

Deputies said the complainant is the caretaker to the property and told deputies he was mowing when he smelled an odor coming from the wooded area and discovered a partially decomposed body.
