Casey Anthony has settled a lawsuit with Texas EquuSearch, the group that searched for her daughter Caylee in 2008.
Texas Equusearch will be allowed to have an unsecured claim of $75,000 in Anthony's bankruptcy case under the terms of the settlement filed late last week in federal bankruptcy court in Tampa.
The search group won't be entitled to any other claims and won't be able to have any further dealings in her bankruptcy case.
The Texas-based group had objected to the bankruptcy, claiming it had spent more than $100,000 searching for 2-year-old Caylee in 2008.
Anthony filed for Chapter 7 protection in January in Tampa, claiming $1,000 in assets and nearly $800,000 in liabilities. Zenaida Gonzalez and Roy Kronk, who are both suing Anthony for defamation, were listed as creditors.
Anthony was charged with murder in her daughter's death but was acquitted in 2011.
