Report: Mom poses as teen to take daughter's test
Helping your child with homework is something parents all over do, but taking their tests for them is going a bit too far.
That's what one French mother found out, according to the Huffington Post.
A 52-year-old mother identified only as Caroline D., allegedly took her 19-year-old daughter's baccalaureate exam for her.
That is a final exam everyone in France takes before applying for college admission.
She reportedly showed up wearing Converse sneakers, low-rise jeans, with heavy makeup in order to pose as a teen.
Eventually, an exam proctor who had previously supervised an exam her daughter actually took, recognized the daughter's ID and realized her mother wasn't her.
Police said they discreetly pulled her out of the exam room and took her into custody.
They said she admitted to cheating, and Caroline apparently said she was trying to boost her daughter's English score,
She now faces fraud charges, and her daughter could be banned from taking official exams for up to five years.
