SANFORD, Fla. -

Sanford police said it took officers 21 minutes to find and arrest three teens who terrorized a woman Friday during an armed home invasion.

Two of those arrested forced their way into a home at 2509 Yale Ave., ransacking the home while the woman was held at gunpoint and struck several times in the face, according to police.

The two took the woman's phone and fled to a waiting vehicle. While en route to the site, police said, officers spotted the suspect vehicle and were able to take all three teens into custody without incident.

Sanford police said the woman suffered lacerations on her head and a possible broken arm.

The suspects' vehicle was impounded and searched. Police said cannabis packaged for sale, two shotguns, one rifle and a BB gun were recovered, along with live ammunition.

Police said 19-year-old Thomas Clark, of Altamonte Springs, was charged with home invasion robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, driving while license suspended/revoked, and possession of cannabis with intent to sell.

Matthew Teuta, 19, of Georgia, was charged with home invasion robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, battery with injury, grand theft, possession of cannabis with the intent to sell, and deprive use of 911.

Karl Jaquez, 17, of Altamonte Springs, was charged with home invasion robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, grand theft, possession of cannabis with the intent to sell, and deprive use of 911.

Due to the severity of the charges, Sanford police said the three teens were taken to the John E. Polk Correctional Facility and will be held with no bond.
