ORLANDO, Fla. -

SeaWorld's Shamu killer whale show, "One Ocean" will be taking a break in 2014, according to officials.

The show, which is the same show that has come under fire following the 2010 death of trainer Dawn Brancheau, will be temporarily shut down next month for maintenance on the main performing pool at Shamu stadium.

The Dine with Shamu experience will also be suspended, according to SeaWorld officials.

The Shamu show recently received criticism from animal rights groups following the "Blackfish" documentary that highlighted both Brancheau's death and Tilikum. the whale used in the "One Ocean" show.

The park expects both shows to return sometime in the spring, officials said.
