DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -

Daytona Beach police are asking for help finding a sex offender accused of having sex with a teen girl after lying to her about his age.

According to police, Jimmy Pinckney, 42, had sex with the girl at her home after they met at the Dickerson Center on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Daytona Beach.

The girl's mother reported to police that when she came home from work, she saw Pinckney running out the back door.

The girl, between the ages of 12 and 16, said Pinckney told her he was 18.

Pinckney was found guilty of sexual battery in 1990.

Anyone with information is urged to call Daytona Beach police.
