STEUBENVILLE, Ohio -

It would be nearly impossible for anyone who heard about the Steubenville rape case to forget about it. Now the case could be paraded across the big screen in front of the entire country.

According to KDKA, Brad Pitt's production company, Plan B, reportedly secured the rights to a Rolling Stone article by David Kushner titled "Anonymous vs. Steubenville."

The Rolling Stone's article follows the fight of Deric Lostutter, an online vigilante, with the hacker alias Anonymous.

Lostutter was instrumental in exposing the coverup of a 16-year-old’s rape by football players Trent Mays and Ma’Lik Richmond.

Lostutter would end up facing 10 years in prison for his actions, while Mays and Richmond were only sentenced to one.

Plan B Entertainment producers Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner last worked on Best Picture-winner "12 Years a Slave."
