JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Buses that were stolen out of Flagler County in August have been found as part of a multi-state theft ring targeting school buses, deputies said on Wednesday.

Alphonso Bernard Rock was arrested on four charges of the theft of motor vehicle, two charges of possessision/selling vehicle with an altered or removed ID and a grand theft of a motor vehicle charge.

Investigators said the thieves were using some of the buses to take football fans to the University of Florida/University of Georgia football game in Jacksonville over the weekend.

Detectives said buses that were reported stolen from Georgia were also found in Jacksonville, along with the Flagler County buses. Investigators are trying to see how widespread the school bus theft ring was and it’s not clear if Rock will face more charges in other counties or states.

Two Orange County school buses were reported missing in February 2012, but it's not clear if those buses were involved in the theft ring.
