Suspects go on shopping spree with stolen cards in Volusia County

Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach detectives are looking for three suspects who went on a shopping spree with stolen credit cards.

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. -

Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach detectives are looking for three suspects who went on a shopping spree with stolen credit cards.

According to detectives, the trio stole a purse from a woman's unlocked car in Ormond Beach. They then traveled to the Target at 2380 West International Speedway Blvd. and charged $2,700 worth of merchandise on the stolen cards.

The suspects were captured in surveillance video at the store.

Detectives said the thieves stopped at a McDonalds, a gas station and then charged $1,500 at a Walmart in New Smyrna Beach.

In all, detectives said the trio charged thousands of dollars in Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach and Lake Worth.
