ORLANDO, Fla. -

Police say all roads have reopened after a suspicious device was discovered near the Fashion Square Mall.

The incident happened Thursday night at the Home Suite Home at 2801 E. Colonial Drive.

A bomb squad performed their preliminary findings and called in an explosive ordnance disposal technician to go in and inspect the suspicious device, according to the Orlando Fire Department.

Orlando police said the scene was cleared after 9 p.m. Thursday and that there was no threat to the public.

Primrose Drive was shut down in both directions north of Colonial Drive and one westbound lane of Colonial Drive was closed Thursday night. The roads and the hotel were later re-opened.

No other details were provided.
